The Elder Scrolls Online: Visit Brass Fortress For Basilisk Pet

Zenimax has released the DLC Clockwork City and Update 16 for The Elder Scrolls Online on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and is giving away a Brass Fortress Basilisk on all platforms to celebrate the day. As you add the peaceful companion of your collection on PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One, you’ll find out here in the message.

You’ve probably heard: On October 23rd, the DLC Clockwork City and Free Update 16 were released for the PC and Mac versions of The Elder Scrolls Online, and on November 7, the release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One followed.

What you may not have noticed, however, is Zenimax, to celebrate the release of Clockwork City, is giving the peaceful companion Brass Fortress Basilisk to all players of The Elder Scrolls Online, with the pet having a different hue on each platform.

On PC and Mac you can easily add the basilisk to your collection: Open the Crown Store and just click on the Brass Fortress Basilisk under “Special Offers”. For the consoles, Zenimax has published a short guide on the official site, which reads as follows:

Brass Fortress Basilisk on the Xbox One

  • In the Xbox One Home menu, scroll to the right until you come to the store.
  • Select Search All button.
  • Open “The Elder Scrolls Online” and select the game.
  • On the store page for The Elder Scrolls Online, pick out the Basilisk, then select it under Add-ons and you’ll have it for free!

Brass Fortress Basilisk on the Playstation 4

  • From the PS4 Dashboard, you’ll see the PlayStation Store on the left.
  • Select Search in the top bar.
  • Open “The Elder Scrolls Online” and select the game (not the add-on content that will appear in the results).
  • On the store page for The Elder Scrolls Online, pick out the Basilisk, then select it under Add-ons and you’ll have it for free!

By the way, you did not have to buy the DLC Clockwork City to get the pet, but you need an active “Xbox Live Gold” or “Playstation Plus” subscription. More about The Elder Scrolls Online is also available on our regular theme page.

The Elder Scrolls Onlien Released Its New Patch 3.2.9

A new small incremental patch was released in The Elder Scrolls Online. The patch 3.2.9 (164MB) not only deals with world boss daily quests and a lingering Mark of the Worm in Battlegrounds, but also fixes a few combat-related issues.

Fixed an issue where Mark of the Worm was not being removed from some players at the end of a Battleground match.

The second Omnivox alarm after you go over the bridge for the quest “Lost in the Gloam” is no longer a silent alarm.

Fixed an issue where using a charge ability from stealth would not correctly update your position or subsequent actions to enemy players.

Champion System
Fixed an issue where some 10, 30, 75, or 120-point unlock abilities were still functioning in non-Champion Point PvP campaigns.

You will once again be able to receive your own world boss daily quests in Wrothgar and Vvardenfell even if you had recently completed a different one shared by another player.

ESO Live: The Elder Scrolls Online Looks Great On Xbox One X

Bethesda is one of the first publishers who have confirmed Xbox One X support in their games, and now, at the time of releasing the new console, they have come to terms with what they really expect.

Currently, Bethesda has 7 games on its account with graphical improvements. Graphic enhancements are now available, although at first it seemed that some updates would come out of time. Like a patch for The Elder Scrolls Online, where Bethesda said the MMO title would receive 4K support “later in the year”.

In the newest livestream, ESO Live has Graphics Programmer Alex Tardif joining to discuss how The Elder Scrolls Online was brought to the newly-released Xbox One X console.

A lucky viewer has got an Xbox One X Scorpio Edition during the ESO Live.

The Elder Scrolls Online – Improvements On Xbox One X Version

Bethesda has released a movie of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited that shows us the improvements made to the game on Xbox One X. So we discover that on the new console the title goes to 4K with HDR, has more visual distance, more screen details , even more realistic reflections, and finally better luminosity in the environments.

More and more games show off their capabilities on the Xbox One X and now it’s time to show you how The Elder Scrolls Online will look on the new Microsoft hardware. For us to see their improvements Bethesda has prepared this trailer for us and we have it for you.

Like many other games, it will feature native 4K resolution, improved visuals, much wider draw distance, realistic reflections and more.

The Elder Scrolls Online supports 4K resolution natively and with HDR displays on Xbox One X. In addition, this version includes improved viewing distance, enhanced shadows with environmental occlusion of the screen space (SSAO) as well as reflections on the improved water. The new Microsoft console was launched on November 7.

For those who think to enter this game on their Xbox One X (and the rest of the platforms) we remind you that the Clockwork City DLC will come with a new zone, a new quest, a special challenge, the Transmutation system, etc.

The Elder Scrolls Online is also available on PS4 and PC.

TESO Received Clockwork City And Improvements For Xbox One X

Zenimax’s online multiplayer will include native 4K support and HDR support, as well as increased viewing distance, shadows improvements with the SSAO (environmental occlusion) implementation, and improved water reflection.

The MMORPG based on the universe of The Elder Scrolls, gets a new update that brings improvements and optimizations for Xbox One X along with its latest downloadable content: Clockwork City. As we told you yesterday, Bethesda would publish an update for this title today, something that has already been fulfilled. This new update allows players to experience the first act of return to Clockwork City for free.

This update will bring the Xbox One X users the compatibility with the native 4K resolution, as well as being able to benefit from the HDR technology to enjoy a greater dynamic range of colors. Along with this, there is also an increase in the drawn distance presented by this title, accompanied by improvements in the shadows and reflections of the water.

As for Clockwork City, it is the eighth DLC of The Elder Scrolls Online. We will be enabled a new location to explore at our whim, along with a new plot, another fierce test for our group, the Transmutation system and many additional elements of personalization. We can get it in the Crown Store for about 2,000 crowns, although if you are members of The Elder Scrolls Online Plus, do not worry, because this downloadable content is included in the subscription. Are you ready for a new adventure in Tamriel?
