You’ve probably heard: On October 23rd, the DLC Clockwork City and Free Update 16 were released for the PC and Mac versions of The Elder Scrolls Online, and on November 7, the release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One followed.

What you may not have noticed, however, is Zenimax, to celebrate the release of Clockwork City, is giving the peaceful companion Brass Fortress Basilisk to all players of The Elder Scrolls Online, with the pet having a different hue on each platform.

On PC and Mac you can easily add the basilisk to your collection: Open the Crown Store and just click on the Brass Fortress Basilisk under “Special Offers”. For the consoles, Zenimax has published a short guide on the official site, which reads as follows:

• In the Xbox One Home menu, scroll to the right until you come to the store.
• Select Search All button.
• Open “The Elder Scrolls Online” and select the game.

A new small incremental patch was released in The Elder Scrolls Online. The patch 3.2.9 (164MB) not only deals with world boss daily quests and a lingering Mark of the Worm in Battlegrounds, but also fixes a few combat-related issues.

Battlegrounds
Fixed an issue where Mark of the Worm was not being removed from some players at the end of a Battleground match.

Quests
The second Omnivox alarm after you go over the bridge for the quest “Lost in the Gloam” is no longer a silent alarm.

General
Fixed an issue where using a charge ability from stealth would not correctly update your position or subsequent actions to enemy players.

Champion System
Fixed an issue where some 10, 30, 75, or 120-point unlock abilities were still functioning in non-Champion Point PvP campaigns.

You will once again be able to receive your own world boss daily quests in Wrothgar and Vvardenfell even if you had recently completed a different one shared by another player.

Bethesda is one of the first publishers who have confirmed Xbox One X support in their games, and now, at the time of releasing the new console, they have come to terms with what they really expect.

Currently, Bethesda has 7 games on its account with graphical improvements. Graphic enhancements are now available, although at first it seemed that some updates would come out of time. Like a patch for The Elder Scrolls Online, where Bethesda said the MMO title would receive 4K support “later in the year”.

Bethesda has released a movie of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited that shows us the improvements made to the game on Xbox One X. So we discover that on the new console the title goes to 4K with HDR, has more visual distance, more screen details , even more realistic reflections, and finally better luminosity in the environments.

The Elder Scrolls Online supports 4K resolution natively and with HDR displays on Xbox One X. In addition, this version includes improved viewing distance, enhanced shadows with environmental occlusion of the screen space (SSAO) as well as reflections on the improved water. The new Microsoft console was launched on November 7.
