The Downloadable ESO Dragon Bones Will Arrive In February

Since its release in 2014, The Elder Scrolls Online has gathered many players, on PC and Mac at first, and then on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It only seemed like yesterday that the “Clockwork City” add-on and Update 16 was released for The Elder Scrolls Online, and yet here we are with its developer, Zenimax Online Studios, revealing the next exciting adventure coming to the MMORPG. The game, faithful to the universe created ZeniMax and Bethesda Softworks, is regularly updated and often has new content, such as the downloadable Dragon Bones Game Pack that will arrive in February.

And apart from that, we’ll be seeing a wealth of content including a pair of brand-new dungeons called Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair, the much-awaited home storage for player housing, and an entirely new Leveling-up system as well. There’ll also be new PvP maps to duke it out amongst yourselves, an Outfit system to allow for more personal customization, and much more. This is an addition to The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.

Dragon Bones is an add-on to the MMORPG game called The Elder Scrolls Online. The DLC was developed by the ZeniMax Studios Online team, and it went, among others, to the Xbox One platform.

Story

The basic element of The Elder Scrolls Online: Dragon Bones are two new battlegrounds with which the story is related. The leading role is played by Fang Lair, or the Dwemer ruins, in which the necromancer Orryn performs a mysterious ritual aimed at reviving the skeleton of the dragon resting there. In the second “dungeon”, or Scalecaller Peak, where the Dragon Priest was buried, the cultists try to bring a powerful plague to the Tamriel empire. Of course, the task for the players is to stop both threats.

Contents

Traveling through the aforementioned underground, players must face such well-known adversaries, as well as a completely new one, among whom the dragon animates the lead. It is worth noting that dungeons are available in both Normal and Veteran of The Elder Scrolls Online. Those who decide to face challenges can count on getting unique items, Trophies and achievements; for example, it is enough to cross the threshold of one of the dungeons so that the hero we lead receives the Dragon Priest Mask.

This add-on debuted along with the free update marked with Update 17, which adds some new features to the basic version of the game. Speech, among others, about two additional Battlegrounds (Mor Khazgur and Deeping Drome), the possibility of changing the appearance of gear, the presence of furniture allowing the Home storage of items, and finally a special system advising on the direction of the hero’s development.

The Elder Scrolls Online Guide For The Exchangeable Equipment

Do you think that high-level equipment must be exchangeable or linked to the character who receives it in The Elder Scrolls Online? A subject that deserves attention! Exchanging equipment, potions and other items between players is the basis of an economy in a MMORPG. While some argue in favor of global exchange, other players believe that high-level equipment should only be available in raid and PvP. But it’s like placing the craft at the bottom, in an unattractive position.

eso

All Exchangeable Items

Previous Elder Scrolls have placed the player’s freedom as an essential part of their gameplay. Players who have never played an MMO will quickly find the fact of not being able to exchange any limiting object.

However, if everything is exchangeable, there will be players fully equipped too quickly, having obtained their equipment either by a gift made by a friend, or by bartering. People doing raid or PvP for fun will certainly become rich quickly as they will acquire many items they will not need and will be able to sell. It also means that the same raids will not have to be repeated as often as each object will be quickly put into circulation and bought.

At this rate, some players may come to the conclusion that they no longer need to raid or PvP. Others will find that killing low-level monsters for money and buying high-level equipment makes more sense.

If players can sell high level equipment, they will want to trade their old equipment as soon as they get better. For players buying this old equipment, this reduces the game’s progress and allows them to avoid wasting time and content. This is advantageous from a certain point of view. However, since high-level objects will need craftsmen’s enchantments to produce the desired effect, most of the items traded will have already been enchanted by their former owners. This means that as time passes, high-level craftsmen will be less and less sought after. The only solution would be that the objects break without the possibility of repair after a certain time.

Unlike other MMOs, PvP in TESO has a goal that goes beyond personal progression. The ability to capture territories and thus contribute to the interests of his faction provides a way for players to move forward without obtaining objects as a reward. Could it be possible for adventure zones (raids) to also be linked to factions and give access to new equipment? The mere fact of exchanging equipment with other players of his own faction also contributes to his success in PvP.

High Level Equipment Related To The Character

For the equipment to be truly a sign of accomplishment and prestige, the best equipment must not be exchangeable or very difficult to obtain. This will appeal to other MMO players, but may be a shock for Elder Scrolls fans. However, it is the obvious choice for Zenimax because the objective of an MMO, from an economic point of view, is to keep the players as long as possible. This means to force the players to invest their time to progress in the contents.

However, players have advantages with this system, because if the equipment is not exchangeable, when inspecting a player, it does not only indicate what the player wears. It also provides information on the monsters killed, the progress of his raid and his achievements. If PvP rewards players with equipment, it also explains how much he has invested in his faction. The equipment of a player is part of its history, beyond a simple list of statistics.

The Elder Scrolls Online Updates Outfit System Now

Already in February 2018 in the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online will be a new system that allows you to adapt the appearance of your gear. Outfit will be similar to the transmogrification, which is currently present in World of Warcraft. Now, no matter what you wear, your armor will always look dazzling. This mechanic will appear along with the upcoming update and will be available to all players. Also we are waiting for the new addition of Dragon Bones.

a style for a slot

Equipment can be changed in the crafting stations of the city or in a personal home. For this purpose you can use the Outfit Station for painting items. You can customize literally all the items – Helmets, Chests, Shoulders, Hands, Waist, Legs, Feet and others. Also, the Primary and Secondary weapons can be changed at will.

Outfit System means a lot of options that you can use to find and create gear slots. For example, items in your collection can be filtered by Filter By option. Of course, this service will have a certain cost, for example, changing the bib will be more expensive than reworking gloves, and the rarity of the style that you apply to the slot will also affect the price. Thus, the cost of one item will vary from 100 to 1000 gold. If you do not have enough coins, then in the Crown Store you can buy special Outfit Change Tokens.

Now your swords can look like axes, and heavy gear like light gear. However, there are some limitations. For example, you can not change the appearance of the bow on a two-handed sword or helmet on boots. Another important innovation will be a collection in which items from all your characters will be transferred.

The update will appear in the game on February 17, 2018.

The Elder Scrolls Online Preview Of Scalecaller Peak

The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, PS4, Xbox One) will soon receive the new Dungeon DLC “Dragon Bones”. One of the new dungeons – the “Scalecaller Peak” – brings truly vile enemies!

The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is the first DLC package to receive the “Dragon Bones” dungeon pack in 2018. It contains the two instances “Fang Lair” and “Scalecaller Peak”.

fetid halls of Scalecaller Peak

While Fang Lair re-presents an ancient instance from the very first Elder Scrolls game, Arena, after over 20 years, the Scalecaller Peak is all about disgusting pestilence and smelly ogre bosses.

The fallen dragon priest and her stinking entourage!

The Scalecaller Peak is located in the mountains in the border area between Wrothgar and Stormhaven. There the fallen Dragon Priest Zaan has established herself with her master. Since her Dragon Lord Thurvokun was destroyed, she now serves the Daedric Prince Peryite, the Lord of Pestilence.

Scalecaller empowered

Therefore, Zaan’s new cult is a stinking epidemic sect. This will make you face some of the most disgusting bosses you’ve ever met in ESO. The most disgusting lackeys of Zaan are probably the twin ogres Orzun the Foul-Smelling and Rinaerus the Rancid.

Each one of them is horrendous enough, but when the two ogres meet, their abilities completely blows away. It is therefore important to kill the two ogres simultaneously as far as possible. A challenge for every team!

Beware of foul monsters

New loot and decoration for housing!

As always, inviting valuable rewards to compensate you for the hardships you have suffered. After the victory over Zaan, there are again unique achievements, a new skin and Trophies for your home.

As a new armor set, you can capture “Jorvuld’s Guidance,” which will greatly enhance the survivability of you and your group. It extends buffs and damage shields.

In Veteran mode, there are still helmets from Zaan monster set. Together with the monster sets they will improve your critical hits. Anyone venturing into the instance will also get a helmet skin for free.

A Faster Burning Ground Effect Coming In PoE 3.1.3

GGG are planning to release patch 3.1.3 tomorrow, containing a new, faster, Burning Ground effect and some other high-priority bug fixes. As a preview to this update, GGG are making the patch notes available to share today. The following content is what bug fixed in Path of Exile 3.1.3. For more PoE information, you can visit U4GM and buy poe orbs.

Fixed a client crash that occurred when typing various symbols into the search box in the Map Stash Tab. Fixed a client crash that occurred when right clicking on a Map Stash Tab if that tab was not already loaded. Fixed a bug causing the effects for a skill in the High Templar Avarius encounter to not be displayed. Fixed a bug where some Rogue Exiles were not counting towards the “Kill Rogue Exiles” challenge.

Path of Exile

Fixed a bug where Desecrate cast by monsters would not create any corpses. Fixed a bug where a Divine Vessel was incorrectly consumed if the Map boss was replaced by the Elder or an Elder Guardian. Fixed a bug where Vaal Spectral Throw was not interacting correctly with the Volley Support gem.

Fixed a bug where the quest tracker was displaying incorrect quest information while in Maps. Fixed a bug where the Twice Blessed Darkshrine effect was not always given to the player who clicked the Darkshrine. Fixed a rare bug preventing some characters from completing the Lighting the Way quest.

GGG have made a new effect for Burning Ground which doesn’t have the performance issues that the previous one did. While it has a few visual bugs still, they are releasing it for feedback and to get the improvement onto the realm as soon as possible. GGG plan to update the other ground effects in a similar way in the future.

Some players think GGG are actually made ninja changes to Lich spawn rate, or ninja fixed a bug with them, because people are reporting finding much more in the last week or so. They wish that GGG would just officially support Regex searches in the stash tab. They already know its a thing internally since they get the regex symbol error, just let they access it by ticking an option or something so it isn’t too confusing to new players.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Is One Of The Best Expansions Of 2017

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind mainly leads to the mentioned PvP mode, new story and new rally. DLC was released on June 6 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Elder Scrolls Online is a great series compelling players to spend coutless hours in. In this year, there are many good expansions of new games, there were numerous top-tier expansions (including Morrowind DLC) that were well worth jumping into to return to some of gaming’s most beloved worlds.

eso

The Elder Scrolls Online’s campaign to restore its honor after its lackluster launch continued in earnest in 2017. Their year was punctuated by the release of Morrowind, an expansion that, as a newcomer at least, we enjoyed very much. It was filled with rich story content, an area full of nostalgia scenery to explore, and the pet/nature-based class, Warden. For our full thoughts, check out our review.

What makes The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind truly special is that it’s just nostalgic enough to appeal to old Morrowind fans while still being inviting to first-time players. 2016’s One Tamriel update to the main ESO game eliminated level requirements on quests and replaced the previous system with level scaling, so no matter if you’re level one or 50, it’s accessible to every player.

With roughly 30 hours of new content to play through, the Morrowind expansion feels like a well fleshed-out story. You’ll assist the legendary warrior-poet Vivec as his power is being sapped away. At the same time, a meteor is heading towards the capital–in short, Vvardynfell’s impending doom is nigh, and your choices are all about figuring out how to save it. This is the first time we’ve seen this sort of urgency in ESO’s questlines, and it’s the first time that it’s ever felt like your choices truly matter.

Aside from the massive improvement in writing, ESO: Morrowind also introduces the first new player class since the game’s initial launch: Wardens. It’s a well-balanced class with a focus on nature magic, perfect for beginners or current players who want to focus on an alternate. The Warden is a little weak at first, but a versatile build and great addition to the classes that already exist within the ESO universe.

It can be difficult to keep the magic of a 20-year-old-plus franchise alive, but this expansion’s beauty, endless number of things to do, and small details make it a solid and meaningful addition to the world of The Elder Scrolls Online.

Aside from Morrowind, ZeniMax has continued to consistently add-in new content via patches such as transmutation, PvP modes, and smaller DLC content such as the Horns of the Reach back in August. TESO is hitting its stride, and while it may be too late to catch up to the other two games on this list, that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s evolved into a worthwhile MMORPG over the years. And in 2017, it built on that progression in a significant way by successfully returning fans to a beloved region.

If what you want to do is carve out a piece of the Elder Scrolls of the world for your own and explore alongside other human players, TESO is delivering right now and doing it on PS4, PC, and Xbox One to boot.

The Elder Scrolls Online December Achievements

The ESO-GOLD gives you a digest of the December news about The Elder Scrolls Online.

Like previous years, the month of December 2017 proved to be chick in news, but some news and events are worthy of interest.

eso

For starters, after the trial offer offered to XBox One players last month, PC, Mac and PS4 gamers were also eligible for a free trial week.

In addition, another event related to # 10MillionStories took place during the same week, open to players participating in the trial offer as well as others, who offered bonus rewards by completing a random dungeon, plus an additional chance for the draw linked to this event (7 bonus chances maximum).

But the major news is the letter from Matt Firor, who reviews the results of TESO, additions to the game during the year 2017, and gives some information on the content of the first update of 2018.

The New Life Festival is also making a comeback in Tamriel, even though it offers few new rewards and no new activity.

On the other hand, many sales have been put in place, either on the price of the game or the packs of crowns; these balances were accompanied by a second opportunity to get the Nix-Ox mount for free for buyers of Morrowind who did not benefit from the first offer.

On the community side, an ESOLive took place on December 8th, 2017 at 9pm, centered around the theme of parties.

The results of the recent Fan Art Contest, also on the theme of parties, have been announced, and the winners and favorites have seen their works published on the official website.

And, still on the same subject, some of the most beautiful decorations placed by the players were presented, in photo or video.

2 players were interviewed, one for his creations of statuettes around the game, and the other thanks to his talents for cosplay.

The November 2017 community guide has also been published.

Finally, as every month, the novelties of the Crown Store were presented; some items removed from the store accompany the new season (which are all present for a limited time).
