The Elder Scrolls Online: Five Reasons To Enjoy Dragon Bones

MMO leaders continue to attract the public with more content

The Elder Scrolls Online had one of its best years during the past 2017, moment in which it managed to surpass the incredible number of 10 million players thanks to the content that is added of regular form to the work so much in the form of small DLCs as of great expansions that include even entire continents, as is the case with Morrowind. But from ZeniMax Online and Bethesda do not want to stay here and, as confirmed a while ago, in 2018 there is still more and better content for this popular MMORPG.

eso

Now we have a new DLC that, as usual, is available for sale in the Crown Store of the game and free of charge for subscribers of the game’s premium service, ESO Plus. In this case we find Dragon Bones, a content pack that brings us two new dungeons with their own enemies, bosses, environments and, of course, rewards. Thanks to Bethesda, we have already enjoyed this content and today we bring you 5 reasons to fall in love with Dragon Bones and its dungeons.

1 More for less

The content policy of ZeniMax Online seems to continue to give great results and Dragon Bones does not move away from it. The study behind The Elder Scrolls Online has been betting on packs that, without adding too much content, arrive very regularly (every two or three months). None of these packs is necessary or exclusive so each user can freely choose which one he acquires without worrying about being separated from the rest of the community.

Dragon Bones repeats this strategy and is clearly focused on players who want new challenges regardless of their level. The two new dungeons arrive with adjustments that, as explained by the content developers, will allow all users to enjoy a real challenge.

2 A touch of nostalgia

From ZeniMax Online have repeatedly shown the love they have for the saga The Elder Scrolls and that shows in different details. If a few months ago we were thrilled with our return to Vvardenfell with the great expansion of Morrowind, Dragon Bones takes us back to The Elder Scrolls Arena, to the origins of one of the best-known role-playing sagas.

While the size of the content is not comparable, the story behind Fang Lair, one of the two new dungeons, is exactly that of Arena. And, as you already know, the storytelling of this work is not limited to putting us cinematic, but it is done in a more subtle way, including various visual elements that allow you to catch references to the most long-lived fans.

3 Spectacular design

That the design of The Elder Scrolls Online is a wonder is no secret and, therefore, does not stand out especially in Dragon Bones, because we are badly used. But, again, this content pack is an exhibition in this area. ZeniMax Online has returned to give a twist to the dungeons including various mechanics that are presented briefly, then, be exploited in the fights against the bosses.

Regarding these bosses, we find very inspired designs and ideas that have taken exceptionally good practice. All these new enemies are impressive at the visual level and fresh at the playable level, proposing different challenges that force the group to work together to overcome them. This, together with the different levels of difficulty that we can select, makes Dragon Bones an expansion for all those who want to enjoy new dungeons.

4 Technical news

From the moment of its launch, The Elder Scrolls Online has evolved a lot, and that is something that the people responsible for the work do not hide. But the most incredible thing is that the MMO has not evolved only at the level of playability and design, but also in the technical section. The Clockwork City expansion came a few months ago, including significant improvements in the performance of the work in its console versions and less powerful PCs.

Now, with Dragon Bones, no important news arrive but we do have some very interesting details. The different parts of Fang Lair, the dungeon that we have been able to play, are no longer separated by loading screens. Now, when we touch a door to open it, it simply opens and, without loading screens, we just walk through it realistically. We do not notice this change of zone and, although it is a silly detail, it is a change that is appreciated with respect to the past. Like this, many bugs have been fixed and the performance has also suffered a small improvement.

5 Update for all

But the best thing about these expansions is that they never come alone, and this time Dragon Bones comes with Update 17 under his arm. This patch comes free to all users and brings news for everyone. Among the highlights is a new system of rewards for leveling up, storage in homes and, above all, the Skills Advisor so that users with less experience in the work can quickly and clearly understand the progression system, taking clear from the first moment what to improve to build a concrete build.

Another of the important novelties that the fans had been asking for some time is the new outfit system. With this new inclusion all players can modify the appearance of their equipment without changing their statistics, allowing each character to look uniquely. In the words of those responsible for The Elder Scrolls Online, users have already done incredible things with this tool, so the future is bright and can demonstrate all the creativity that players have.

The Ledge Overview In Path Of Exile

In Path of Exile, the Ledge is an area in Act 1. This area has a waypoint and is connected to The Submerged Passage and The Climb. Kuduku spawns at the top of a hill in an open area near the Climb exit, and the waypoint is roughly in the middle of the area. Bear in mind that having enough path of exile orbs is not bad for you.

Because the area is highly linear and has relatively simple enemies, the Ledge is popular for farming. When farming The Ledge, the three cairns next to the waypoint indicate the direction in which Kuduku spawns. The Ledge was the inspiration for the Endless Ledge race type.

Path of Exile

The following are the Monsters you will meet:

1. Kuduku, the False God is a unique totem located near the end of The Ledge. Kuduku is immobile and deals heavy Lightning Damage.

2. Ancient Archer is a type of Skeletal Archer found in Act 1 and Act 2.

3. Cannibal is a type of creature found in Act 1. They are human mobs with both ranged and melee attacks and fairly fast movement. They replaced Scavengers. They have both male and female models.

4. Grinning Totem is a type of totem that spawns in some areas with an aura to aid monsters.

5. Rattling Bones is a type of Skeleton found in Act 1.

6. Native monsters in this area can resist fire, and deal physical, fire and lightning damage.

Hopefully the above guide will be helpful to you. If you do not want to lag behind others due to lack of orbs, you can buy exalted orbs on U4GM.

TESO: The Combats Revamped With The Update 17

Zenimax released on 12 and 27 February for The Elder Scrolls Online not only the chargeable DLC Dragon Bones, but also the free update 17. In an official preview, the developers now take a look at the innovations for the combat system, in the PvE and Promote PvP interaction and tactical approach.

On the 12th of February the DLC Dragon Bones and the free update 17 for the PC version of The Elder Scrolls Online will be released – the console version will be released on February 27th. Highlight of the chargeable package are the two new dungeons Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair, the patch will turn two new arenas for the Multiplayer Slaughter in 4v4v4 mode (Mor Khazgur and Deeping Drome), camps in hostels, to play the Outfit system as well as adjustments for the level experience on the servers of TESO (now for € 29,88 buy).

Ability Synergies

But the developers have with Update 17 also an improvement of the combat system in view. The goal: The interaction within the group and tactical approach should be promoted. How Zenimax wants to achieve that in detail, you have been learning for a short time in an official developer blog.

In particular, the designers take advantage of the Ability Synergies that players have not used as effectively as the people in charge would like to see them. Their use is therefore to be simplified, and some enhancements and corrections are planned.

“With this update, we wanted to make Synergies easier to understand and even easier to activate,” says ESO Lead Combat Designer Eric Wrobel. “Every ability that offers a Synergy now displays a clear visual indicator, such as a column of light. Once the Synergy is used, the indicator disappears. This helps other players know whether they can expect to find a Synergy there.”

In addition, the visual indicators will tell you the remaining cooldown in the future, you can trigger them anytime, no matter what your character is currently driving.

TESO: Changes for group battles in Cyrodiil

Another goal of the developers is to distribute the player groups in Cyrodiil, but all previous adjustments have not been successful. Therefore, Zenimax now picks up the maximum number of targets that can sustain surface damage from attack. Say: Each player in the realm area will always receive the full damage in the future. In this way, smaller groups should continue to be able to “take on larger ones with smart, tactical placement of their AoEs.”

TESO: Blocking becomes more important

Blocking should always be a core element of the defense in TESO, but the balance was not right: for normal players, the Stamina cost was too high, who fully relied on defensive, for the cost again played no role. Therefore, Zenimax lowers the Stamina Block Cost of blocking while mitigating the effectiveness of Block Cost enchantments:

Block Cost enchantments

“With this change, we wanted to cut down on the extremes in Block Cost to create a more consistent experience,” says Wrobel. “Top-end players could get block to cost around 100 Stamina, while the average player had to spend over 2000. Since this cost can be applied four times a second, you can drain your entire Stamina bar in the blink of an eye.”

TESO: Interrupt and Heavy Attacks

With the last two changes Zenimax wants to increase the tactical depth in the fights. In PvP you can move a bit faster in the future, if you use skills with preparation time. A red telegraph will now show your opponent that you can be interrupted. If your ability is interrupted, you will not be able to use the same ability immediately. Your next attempt, however, can not be interrupted.

Off Balance

Heavy Attacks continue to keep opponents out of balance in PvE combat. In addition, you receive twice the amount of Off Balance enemy with Heavy Attacks when you hit a deadlocked target. In turn, “Bosses will be immune to the Off Balance mechanic for a period after it ends. This creates opportunities for regeneration phase during long boss fights and more tactical options for all.”

What do you think of these changes? More information about The Elder Scrolls Online is available on our regular theme page and on the start page for TESO: Morrowind.

The Elder Scrolls Online: New Storages Come To Update 17

Zenimax released on 12 and 27 February for The Elder Scrolls Online not only the paid DLC Dragon Bones, but also the free update 17. In an official preview, the developers now take a look at the highlight innovations for all TESO players: Level-Up Experience, Home Storage and the Outfit system.

On the 12th of February the DLC Dragon Bones and the free update 17 for the PC version of The Elder Scrolls Online will be released – the console version will be released on February 27th. The highlight of the paid package are the two new dungeons Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair, the patch will in turn – among other things – two new arenas for the Multiplayer Slaughter in 4-v-4-v-4 mode (Mor Khazgur and Deeping Drome) to the servers of TESO (buy now for 29.88 euros) play.

Which other important features Update 17 has in the storage collectibles, Zenimax has now illuminated in an official developer blog. Since we have already described the outfit system in detail in the official guide, we will now focus on the other two innovations: the new storage collectibles in homes and the more worthwhile steps.

Under collectibless, you can imagine a home furnishing item where bankable items can be stored in banks, making room in your inventory, in the bank, or in the Craft Bag.

“Home Storage is something we have always wanted to do,” says creative director Rich Lambert. “This was undoubtedly underlined by the community’s wishes when we released ‘Homestead’ and everyone wanted to leave their stuff at home!”

chests

With Update 17 there will be two new types of storage facility:

  • Storage Chests – Accommodate up to 60 items
  • Storage Coffers – Accommodate up to 30 items

Since these storage containers are collection items, you can make one copy at each of your homes. So you can store your items in any home and take out again. The same container will always have the same content, no matter where you access it. In total, there are four different chests and coffers, thanks to which you will receive up to 360 additional storage slots. You can get a free Storage Coffer as a reward in the new system for step upgrades. The remaining seven containers are obtained in the following ways:

  • Spending Tel Var Stones at Tel Var General Merchants in the Imperial City
  • Spending Writ Vouchers with the Achievement Mediator in Tamriel’s capital cities
  •                    Note: You need the achievement “Permanent Resident”.
  • Purchasing them with Crowns from the Furniture section of in-game Crown Store

The free storage slot is just one of many rewards that await you from Level 17 onwards. Gold, crafting materials, or experience scrolls also milestones; and for certain milestones you can even get collection items such as mounts or costumes!

eso

In addition, you will receive after a level-up in the future information about new available skills for your character class or useful tips about the game Skills Advisor mechanics, which of course, especially newbies to get started easier. Part of this tutorial feature is an integrated guide that will guide you on how to build a character based on specific class archetypes.

You can access the skills guide through your normal skill window – there you can also activate or deactivate it. You can also set your desired class archetypes in the Skills Advisor tool to see a selection of recommended skills and changes.

“You can always do whatever you want with your character in ESO,” Lambert points out. “But the Skills Advisor is here to give you an idea of how all of the skills work together and provide you with direction as you build your character. This way, once you are comfortable with the basics, you can go off and build your own.”

How To Become A Rich Player In Path Of Exile

Path of Exile, also known as POE, is an online action role-playing game developed by Grinding Gear Games in 2013. That said the game currency which is most popularly referred to as path of exile orbs is a prized possession. However, how to maximise your PoE orbs collecting? The following tips you should view seriously.

Path of Exile

1) Gear Up: You should to equip stronger gear at any time in any RPG; Bear in mind that boosting your orb drop rates. The caliber of gear you should be aiming for is the highest quality and rarity you can find. The higher rarity, the more you’ll be able to find. Because rarity positively influences drop rates.

2) IIQ and IIR: IIQ (Increased Item Quantity) and IIR (Increased Item Rarity) are modifications (or mods) you can find on certain items that will help you progress further along the line in your orb farming endeavours. If you’re looking for increased quantity, items such as Eber’s Key will grant you a 5% bonus to the amount of items you find in that area. Make the most of these mods to ensure that you get as many orbs as possible.

3) Boost Your Damage: The more mobs you can kill at once, the better chances you have of getting the poe items drop you’re after. Therefore you should concentrate on high-damage skills and area-of-effect (AOE) skills to maximise your damage output and ensure you get your kills. Be careful not to become overrun with too many mobs during this stage. If your Defense is not up to par, you will be knocked out and this will set you back in your farming journey.

4) Watch Your Level: There exists a currency penalty in all PoE zones based on your character’s level. If you have a level difference greater than 2 from the level of the area, you receive a penalty of 2.5% for every level after 2. You should take note that the penalty does not carry on in zones higher than level 66. In a level 72 character in a 60 zone will therefore only receive a 10% penalty, the same as a level 66 character.

5) Buy Currency: If you find yourself needing more orbs during the game, but unfortunately you do not have any time, then buy chaos orbs on U4GM will be a good choose for you.

6) Be Patient: It can be tempting to give up when farming orbs. However, in an ARPG that is completely randomly generated, sometimes you won’t always get what you need. Stay patient and take breaks when you need to; not everything is about the game.

Fighting Elder Guardians In Path Of Exile

In Path of Exile, the Elder Guardians are the four bosses of the Elder. As the Elder grows more powerful, he will consume the Shaper’s creations to manifest his own Guardians. The stronger the consumed boss, the stronger the Elder is when you face him.The Elder Guardians are the four bosses of the Elder. How to fight them?

The Purifier deals purely physical damage. IC works wonders. He has no adds. Run behind him when he jumps in the air and always run away from his beams. Otherwise, just have ways to mitigate phys or run very fast, or you’re gonna get hurt real bad. This is the simplest Guardian. Meanwhile, enough path of exile orbs is important for you.

Path of Exile

The Enslaver deals partially phys, partially fire. The fire damage deals powerful ignites. Bring flasks with ignite removal – bismuth/stibnite/aquamarine with +charges/-% charges used and ignite removal alongside regular use of IC can make him easy. His melee attacks are pure phys, so if you have a lot of phys reduction/armour, get up close and get his AI to fistfight you rather than spew fire.

The Eradicator is pure lightning spells, no ways to easily mitigate here. Constant movement required. You want shock immunity and a way to deal damage while moving, as he has a lot of energy shield and recharges it fast. The projectiles deal less damage than his spells, so don’t be afraid to bite a bullet to avoid getting caught by his storm calls.

The Constrictor is a bow user that deals physical and chaos damage and constantly slows you. The longer you stay still, the more stacks of “constricting vines” you accrue and the slower you will be when you need to move. He does not use spells, only attacks, so use blind if you can – chance on hit blind, not clouds, as he’ll move out of clouds too fast. There’s pools of chaos damage on either side of the arena and he is constantly moving.

The Elder deals physical and cold damage purely with spells. He fires slowish moving ice spears that will kill you and when in the air will spawn physical explosions beneath you, so again, run when the boss is floating. He has a massive ground effect that deals phys DoT, but there’s a minimum range around him that won’t deal damage, as well as a maximum range at the very edge of the arena. Get in close, else you’ll just get ice speared while pinned to the edge. He slows you and immobilises you and only spawns a handful of adds. Cold mitigation won’t help nearly as much as simply avoiding the spears will, which is your only hope. Good luck!
